Intelligent Manufacturing: Pengchin Industry Launches High-precision Automated Production Line

Recently, Hong Kong's well-known industrial automation solution provider-Pengchin Industry (HK) Co., Ltd. (Pengchen Industry (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd.) officially announced that its self-developed high-precision intelligent automation production line has successfully completed mass production verification. And in Dongguan, Suzhou and Hanoi, Vietnam three major manufacturing bases simultaneously deployed. The production line integrates industrial robots, AI vision recognition, real-time digital twin monitoring and adaptive motion control technology, positioning repetition accuracy of 0.02mm, 40% higher than the industry average, marking the company in the field of high-end equipment intelligence to achieve a key technological leap.

According to Dr. Lin Weiming, the company's technical director, the automated production line is specially developed for high value-added components such as precision electronic components, automotive sensor housings and medical micro-structures. The system is equipped with a self-developed PC-OS industrial control platform, supports multi-brand robot collaborative scheduling (compatible with ABB, KUKA, UR and domestic Youao), and realizes millisecond data response through edge computing gateway. The AI quality inspection module can automatically identify 0.05mm surface defects, with a detection rate as high as 99.97, greatly reducing the cost of manual reinspection. At present, six customers, including Bosch supply chain enterprises and Lixun precision secondary suppliers, have completed production line acceptance and entered the batch delivery stage.

Pengchin Industry has been deeply involved in the field of industrial automation for more than 18 years, covering 12 countries and regions in Asia and serving more than 320 customers. The company was supported by the Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Commission's Re-industrialization Funding Scheme in 2023 and passed the ISO/IEC 17025 Testing Laboratory certification in Q2 2024, becoming one of the few Hong Kong-funded industrial technology enterprises with the third-party verification capability of integral linearity. The release of the new production line has also launched the cloud remote operation and maintenance platform PengCloud. Customers can view OEE (Equipment Comprehensive Efficiency), predictive maintenance warning and energy consumption optimization suggestions in real time through the Web side, thus truly realizing the transformation of' Manufacturing as a Service' (MaaS).
